A Pirates of the Caribbean Lounge is on the Horizon!
Ahoy, mateys! Get ready to add a new treasure to your Magic Kingdom adventures. Disney has just announced that a brand new lounge themed to the iconic Pirates of the Caribbean attraction, named The Beak and Barrel, is setting sail for Adventureland!
Set to open in late 2025, this sounds like the perfect spot to rest your weary sea legs and soak in some swashbucklin’ atmosphere. Located in the space that previously housed The Pirates League and part of Plaza del Sol Caribe Bazaar, The Beak and Barrel promises to expand the lore of our favorite pirate ride.

The lounge has a fun backstory, established by the legendary pirate rumrunner Captain Meridian “Merry” Goldwyn and her chatty first mate, Rummy – who, get this, will be an animatronic parrot! Imagine sipping on a drink while Rummy squawks pirate tales.
Disney is teasing a “first-of-its-kind experience” that will be family-friendly, offering a variety of food and beverage options. And of course, being Disney, we can expect some “magical surprises” along the way. The theming is set to be immersive, plunging us even deeper into the thrilling world of pirates.

So, mark your calendars for late 2025, buccaneers! The Beak and Barrel sounds like a fantastic addition to Adventureland, offering a chance to unwind and indulge in the spirit of piracy. I, for one, can’t wait to raise a glass (or maybe a tankard?) in this new pirate haven!
